EA has launched Battlefield Labs, offering a sneak peek at the next Battlefield game and early access opportunities. This program allows select players to contribute directly to the game's development. Here's how to participate.

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is a new initiative designed to gather crucial player feedback. Chosen participants gain access to early, pre-release game builds for remote playtesting. This allows them to provide direct input to the developers at EA Battlefield Studios on aspects like combat mechanics, map design, and game balance.

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be invited, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands in the future. The program will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Battlefield Labs vs. Beta Testing

Unlike traditional beta tests, Battlefield Labs provides access to work-in-progress builds. Expect more bugs and unfinished elements than in a typical beta. EA aims to leverage this early feedback to refine the game's direction. Participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to maintain confidentiality.
