Astra Yao of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5 has been given a dramatic narrative short film

Zenless Zone Zero shines a spotlight on Astra Yao with a new story focusing on her past. MiHoYo (HoYoverse) offers players a glimpse into the life of this popular singer and part-time on-air support character through a new animated short.

The short depicts Astra Yao participating in a benefit concert commemorating a devastating cavernous disaster. A brief, tense encounter with a journalist precedes a flashback revealing dramatic events from her past. This narrative expansion adds depth to Astra Yao, a character featured in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero 1.5, alongside Evelyn Chevalier in the second banner.

The 1.5 update also includes the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) polychrome compensation. Players receive 300 polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update. This compensation is delivered via in-game mail.

Joining the roster is the new S-rank agent, Astra Yao (Air, Support). Beyond her singing career, Astra Yao proves a formidable support agent, restoring ally HP and significantly boosting damage output. Her abilities facilitate more frequent attack chains and quick assists, enabling devastating team attacks.
