All Artifact Detectors In Stalker 2 (& How To Get Them)
Artifact Detectors in Stalker 2: A Comprehensive Guide
This guide details the four artifact detectors available in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, explaining their functionality and acquisition methods. Artifacts significantly enhance Skif's stats, making artifact detectors crucial for gameplay.
Echo Detector: The Standard
The Echo Detector is your starting device. This small, yellow device features a central light tube that pulses, indicating proximity to an artifact. The intensity of the pulsing and beeping increases as you approach the artifact. While functional, pinpointing the artifact's exact location can be time-consuming.
Bear Detector: An Enhanced Experience
Obtained either during the "A Sign of Hope" side mission or from vendors, the Bear Detector improves upon the Echo Detector. It provides a visual distance indicator using concentric rings around its display. The rings illuminate progressively as you near the artifact, fully lighting up when you're directly above it.
Hilka Detector: Precision Targeting
Acquired during the "Mysterious Case" side mission from Sultan, the Hilka Detector offers a more precise approach. It displays numerical values representing the artifact's distance. Decreasing numbers signify closer proximity.
Veles Detector: The Pinnacle of Artifact Detection
Completing the main mission "In Search of Past Glory" rewards you with the Veles Detector, the most advanced detector in the game. Its radar display accurately pinpoints artifact locations within anomalous zones, also highlighting nearby hazardous anomalies.
