Caro, Gomoku, Renju: Five in a Row Game with Strong AI
This app currently supports four common rules:
GOMOKU Freestyle: The winner is the first player to get an unbroken row of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
CARO (Blocked rule - also called Gomoku+, popular among Vietnamese): The winner must have an overline or an unbroken row of five stones that must not be blocked at both ends. For example, XOOOOOX and OXXXXXO will not count as a winning line.
GOMOKU Standard: The winner is the first player to get an unbroken row of five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Overlines - a line of six or more stones of the same color will not result in a win.
RENJU: Black (the player who makes the first move - X) has long been known to have an advantage. Renju attempts to mitigate this imbalance with extra rules that aim to reduce black's first-player advantage. There are certain moves that Black (X) is not allowed to make:
- Double three – Black cannot place a stone that builds two separate lines with three black stones in unbroken rows (i.e., rows not blocked by an opponent's stone at either end).
- Double four – Black cannot place a stone that builds two separate lines with four black stones in a row.
- Overline – six or more black stones in a row.
This app is integrated with extremely intelligent AI; you can choose to play with multiple levels from easy to extremely difficult or choose to play with friends.
