Avoid Unprovoked PvP

While Rune Slayer's full-loot PvP initially caused concern, it's less brutal than anticipated. Death doesn't result in permanent item loss. However, attacking players incurs a bounty. The more kills, the larger the bounty, leading to increased item drops upon your own death. Therefore, avoid attacking unless strategically advantageous or with group support.

Craft Bags Immediately

Inventory and bank space are severely limited. Fortunately, crafting bags expands capacity. The initial Cotton Bag provides 10 extra slots. Gather Cotton north of Wayshire and Flax south (beware of stronger mobs in the south). Craft these bags as soon as possible.

Pet Deaths are Temporary

Contrary to initial impressions, pets don't die permanently. After reaching zero health, they have a 5-minute summon cooldown. Check this cooldown by pressing 'T'. To quickly heal your pet, store and retrieve it at the stable master (you have one free slot).

Accept All Quests

Rune Slayer features numerous quests, mostly simple "kill X" tasks. To streamline progress, accept every available quest, including those from the job board. Often, quests can be combined, making efficient use of your time.

Craft Everything At Least Once

Prioritize crafting necessary items, but utilize spare materials to craft anything you can. This often unlocks new, superior crafting recipes. For instance, crafting with Iron Ore might unlock advanced Iron Armor recipes.

Join a Guild

While Rune Slayer is solo-friendly, tougher enemies necessitate group play. Guilds provide the easiest way to find groups for challenging encounters. Use general chat or the official Rune Slayer Discord to find a guild and tackle difficult bosses together.
