Get ready for a thrilling new season in Hearthstone Battlegrounds! Season 8 introduces a wave of exciting additions, including new heroes, minions, cards, and a revamped gameplay experience. This guide covers all the key updates you need to know.

Trinkets: The New Power-Ups

The biggest change is the introduction of Trinkets – powerful new enhancements. There are 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, many of which can be stacked. These become available on turns 6 and 9, offering four choices each time, strategically tailored to your hero and current board composition (Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, etc.).

Meet Marin the Manager: The New Hero

Marin the Manager joins the fray, providing a significant advantage by allowing you to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual. This strategic edge will undoubtedly shift gameplay dynamics.

Minions, Spells, and Cards: A Roster Refresh

Season 8 brings a balance update: 41 minions are rotated out, while 22 fan favorites return. Adding to the excitement are 27 brand-new minions and 2 fresh Tavern spells. Four new cards are also introduced:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete the Event Quests to earn a total of 14 packs, including rewards from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
