Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's "Zero" plan – a catastrophic threat to all existence. The game's captivating story and innovative gameplay create an immersive experience with escalating stakes.

The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging, extended side quest. Obtaining it is merely the first step; its true function unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item before the final showdown. To acquire it, advance through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, situated in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs "Consume," an attack inflicting 90% health loss – so ensure Kina is prepared for extensive healing. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly simplifies this encounter.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities deliver substantial damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest to the right; this chest contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

Activating the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two being part of the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses in the prescribed order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests beneath the Altar become accessible. One holds the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.

Opening all chests reveals a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, preserving levels, items, and equipment. While enemies gain increased strength and health, this shouldn't pose significant difficulty, especially after completing all side quests. Using the Tachyon Medal awards the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
