Star Wars: New Character Unveiled in Jedi Power Battles

Aspyr's upcoming release of Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battles for modern consoles features a surprising new playable character: Jar Jar Binks. A recent trailer showcases Jar Jar wielding a staff in action-packed gameplay.

This isn't the only addition to the original 2000 release's roster. Aspyr is significantly expanding the playable character lineup, aiming to capitalize on the nostalgia surrounding the original game. In addition to updated features like customizable lightsaber colors and cheat code support, the re-release boasts numerous new characters.

The trailer highlights Jar Jar's signature chaotic style and voice lines. While some fans may have fantasized about a Darth Jar Jar-esque portrayal, the game depicts him using a large staff as his primary weapon.
