Pokémon fans rejoice! New Pokémon are now available in Pokémon Sleep. As of December 3rd, 2024, you can befriend Sneasel and Weavile – provided you know where to look.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

Given their dual Ice/Dark typing in the main series, you might expect Sneasel and Weavile in Pokémon Sleep's Snowdrop Tundra. However, they're classified as Dark-type in this game (no dual typing allowed).

Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, ensuring all players have a chance to encounter them, even before unlocking Snowdrop Tundra. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to change your research location if needed.

Sleep Types

Sneasel is the easier of the two to initially encounter. Evolving it into Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to find Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.

Are They Worth It?

Knowing how to obtain Sneasel is only half the battle. What benefits do they offer? As a Dark-type, Sneasel gathers Wiki Berries, making it valuable for Snowdrop Tundra.
