How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
As soon as you're set free in the expansive world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing your own bed becomes a top priority. During the Wedding Crashers quest, you have the choice between following the blacksmith or the miller's questline. No matter which path you take, either Radovan or Kreyzl will graciously provide you with a place to rest your head.
In my journey, I opted for Radovan, as he's conveniently located in Tachov, close to your initial starting point. Make your way to Tachov and engage in his questline. Once you've completed the smithing tutorial, you'll gain access to a cozy room right next to the forge where you can sleep.
This bed will be marked as your personal spot on the world map, and you'll also find an inventory chest in the room for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to recover and heal up, simply return to this sanctuary for some restorative sleep.
Sleeping at Campsites
There will be occasions when you can't make it back to your bed in time. Thankfully, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with campsites along roadsides and within forests. Some of these may be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before you can use the facilities, while others might be blissfully empty.
Once you discover a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can interact with the bedrolls to get some sleep. While these won't offer the same comfort level as a regular bed, they'll do the trick in a pinch.
In dire situations, you can also attempt to sleep in NPCs' beds, but be warned—getting caught could lead to a report to the guards unless you can sweet-talk your way out of trouble.
And that's your guide to getting some rest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more invaluable tips and insights on the game, including how to use a torch and the best perks to prioritize, be sure to check out The Escapist.
