Albion Online's Rogue Frontier Update: Smugglers, New Weapons, and More!

Sandbox Interactive's medieval fantasy MMORPG, Albion Online, is getting a major update – Rogue Frontier – on February 3rd! This update introduces a thrilling new storyline centered around the Smugglers, a rebellious faction challenging the Royal Continent's authority in the lawless Outlands.

Outland Adventures:

The Smugglers have established secret underground bases known as Smuggler's Dens, serving as vital hubs for players. These dens provide essential services like banking and repairs, and act as access points to the Smuggler's Network, a sophisticated marketplace connecting Outlands locations. Players can actively participate in the ongoing conflict between the Smugglers and Royal Guards, engaging in missions like rescuing captured Smugglers or delivering contraband.

Rewards for Loyalty:

By assisting the Smugglers, players earn rewards from Maggy Slade, a mysterious trader residing in the dens. These rewards include a coveted Smuggler's Vanity Set, a Smuggler's Cape with a unique ability to reduce potion cooldowns, and a Smuggler's Ring and Avatar.

New Gameplay Elements:

Rogue Frontier introduces Kill Trophies, dropped by defeated players. The quality of the loot on the defeated opponent directly impacts the chance of obtaining a trophy. The update also boasts stylish new weaponry: the Rotcaller Staff (summons a mist to repel enemies), the Skystrider Bow (allows levitation and ranged attacks), and the Forcepulse Bracers (deliver shockwaves during dashes).
