Recursive Annihilation Hits Marvel Rivals: Triggering Guide in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and game modes, along with a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with free items, including a Thor skin. This guide focuses on completing the Recursive Destruction challenge in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when destroying a Dracula-influenced object that then reappears in its original state. However, not all destructible objects will work.

Locating Destructible Objects

To identify eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (activated via the "B" key on PC or the right D-pad button on consoles). Only objects highlighted in red will trigger Recursive Destruction.

Completing the Recursive Destruction Challenge

This challenge is specific to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be visible. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, highlighted in red, and capable of triggering Recursive Destruction.

Destroy these buildings multiple times. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but several hits should suffice. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges involving Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
