Pokémon is launching a reality TV show to celebrate its Trading Card Game (TCG) and its passionate community! "Pokémon: Trainer Tour" will premiere globally on July 31st, streaming on Prime Video and the Roku Channel.
This exciting new series follows hosts Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym) on a cross-country journey. Traveling in a custom Pikachu-themed bus, they'll meet and mentor aspiring Pokémon TCG players, showcasing the diverse and dedicated community behind the game.
According to Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, the show is a unique venture, highlighting the wide range of Pokémon fans and the connections forged through the TCG. He emphasized the opportunity to share the stories of these passionate individuals.
