Hearthstone Season 10: Trinkets Return to Battlegrounds!
Hearthstone fans, get ready for an exciting update as Battlegrounds Season 10, dubbed "Second Nature," is set to launch on April 29th, 2025. This new season promises a slew of changes and fresh content to dive into. Let's break down what's coming your way!
What Does Hearthstone Bring with Battlegrounds Season 10?
As Season 9 concludes, Season 10 kicks off on the same day, April 29th, with a full reset of ratings and a fresh start for the Track. Don't worry if you've left any Season 9 rewards unclaimed; they'll be automatically collected for you.
The excitement builds up with staggered reveals of the new season's features. On April 18th, you'll get a glimpse of Dragons, Demons, and Mechs. Following that, April 21st introduces Undead and Pirates, while Naga and Quilboar make their appearance on April 22nd. The reveal schedule wraps up with Murlocs and Beasts on April 23rd, setting the stage for what's to come.
One significant change is the complete removal of Anomalies from the Tavern at the start of the season. Additionally, to give you more breathing room during matches, turn lengths are being extended, allowing more time for strategic decisions.
Trinkets are making a comeback, but with a twist. These passive power-ups, which you can acquire with Gold, will appear twice in a game: once on turn 6 as Lesser Trinkets and again on turn 9 as Greater Trinkets. Season 10 also enhances your chances of getting Trinkets that align with your current minion type. Blizzard is set to introduce over 100 new Trinkets alongside more than 100 returning ones, offering a vast array of options to boost your gameplay.
Two New Heroes Join the Fray
Introducing two new heroes to the roster: Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons. Cenarius embodies the classic Druid vibe, focusing on ramping up Gold and setting the stage for powerful late-game moves. Meanwhile, Buttons brings a unique flavor to the battlefield, adding diversity to your hero choices.
Alongside the new heroes, Blizzard is refreshing the minion pool with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells. This overhaul promises to shake up your strategies and keep the game fresh and engaging. And don't forget, the Battlegrounds Track will also be reset, giving everyone a new journey to embark on.
Make sure to grab Hearthstone from the Google Play Store before the season goes live and immerse yourself in the new content and updates. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including updates on Snowbreak: Containment Zone's Abyssal Dawn Update with new faces.
