Epic Games Unveils Latest Free Game for January 16

Escape Academy is the Epic Games Store's free game offering for January 16th, 2025. This escape-room style puzzle game, developed by Coin Crew Games, is the fourth free title offered by the EGS in 2025 and boasts the highest OpenCritic score of any free game offered so far this year.

Players can claim Escape Academy for free from January 16th to 23rd, a full week of availability. This marks the second time Escape Academy has been offered for free on the EGS; however, this is the first time it will be available for a full week. The timing is particularly beneficial for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as the game is leaving the service on January 15th.
