In the most recent financial report from Thunderful Group, which has faced multiple rounds of layoffs, a notable update regarding the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced, has come to light. The document reveals that fans will have to wait until 2026 to experience the game, marking yet another delay in its release schedule.

Originally, the developers at Sad Cat Studios had announced that Replaced would launch in 2025, describing the development process as a "unique challenge". However, the game's journey to completion has been fraught with delays; it was initially set to release in 2022, then postponed to 2023, and subsequently to 2024. Despite these setbacks, Sad Cat remains dedicated to delivering a top-quality product, spurred on by the significant attention and high expectations from the gaming community.

Replaced was first unveiled to the public in 2021 during Microsoft’s presentation at the now-discontinued E3 event. Since then, the game has captured the interest of gamers worldwide.

While Sad Cat has yet to address this latest delay officially, the studio continues to engage with its audience. Over the summer, they released combat footage and introduced a mini-game, keeping the community updated on the progress of this eagerly awaited title.
