Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Infernalist

A top-tier choice! The Infernalist Witch commands devastating fire spells and, for summoner fans, unleashes Infernal Hounds from the underworld. Transform into a demonic form for increased damage and mobility (at the cost of increased health loss). The Loyal Hellhound skill and Beidat's Will (linking Spirit to maximum HP) are crucial for survival and maximizing your undead army.

Blood Mage

While not as consistently strong as the Infernalist, the Blood Mage offers a thrilling, high-risk, high-reward playstyle. Sanguimancy replaces Mana with Health, demanding careful management. Vitality Siphon, Life Remnants, Sunder the Flesh, and Gore Spike help mitigate the risk, but reckless play will be punished.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Stormweaver

The Stormweaver Sorcerer unleashes massive elemental damage, boosted by high critical hit chance and Tempest Caller's Elemental Storm. Inflicting status ailments is key, amplified by Strike Twice and Spirit Gems. Constant Gale and Force of Will improve spellcasting speed and mana regeneration, while Heart of the Storm converts Elemental Damage to Energy Shield for survivability.

Chronomancer

A unique addition to PoE2, the Chronomancer manipulates time. Spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze open up exciting combat possibilities. While not currently the strongest Sorcerer Ascendancy, its potential is high. Now and Again, Apex of the Moment, and Quicksand Hourglass offer time-bending tactical advantages.

Warrior Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Warbringer

The Warbringer combines war cries and totems for devastating melee combat, even against bosses. Imploding Impacts and Anvil's Weight enhance armor penetration, while Warcaller's Bellow and Greatwolf's Howl manipulate warcry cooldowns. Renly's Training and Turtle Charm offer defensive options.

Titan

For a controlled, defensive approach, the Titan paralyzes enemies with powerful, slow attacks. Stone Skin and Mysterious Lineage boost defenses and health, while Earthbreaker, Ancestral Empowerment, and Surprising Strength enhance offensive capabilities.

Monk Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Invoker

The Invoker Monk harnesses elemental power for melee combat, utilizing elemental damage and status effects. Power Charges further enhance skills.

Acolyte of Chayula

This Monk embraces darkness, forgoing Spirit for increased Darkness and survivability (Embrace the Darkness). Consuming Questions and Mana Leech offer defensive potential, but currently, the reliance on mana drain is a significant drawback.

Mercenary Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Witchhunter

A top contender, the Witchhunter excels at eliminating demons and undead. Increased damage on first and last hits allows for swift area clearing, while Pitiless Killer, Damage vs Low Life Enemies, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner are crucial against bosses. Witchbane, No Mercy, and Zealous Inquisition further enhance its effectiveness.

Gemling Legionnaire

Gameplay revolves around gems—their stats, quality, and even color. Thaumaturgical Infusion, Crystalline Potential, Implanted Gems, Advanced Thaumaturgy, Adaptive Capability, Integrated Efficiency, and Gem Studded offer unique and powerful build options.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Deadeye

A classic ranged combat class with increased range and damage. Endless Munitions adds extra projectiles, ideal for area control. Excellent for bow users focusing on elemental damage.

Pathfinder

Masters of poison, Pathfinders drain enemy health with double effectiveness. Overwhelming Toxicity doubles poison application but shortens duration. The gas grenade, combined with speed and slow resistance, allows for efficient battlefield control.
