Permissions

Lineage W requires certain permissions for optimal gameplay. Optional permissions are not required to play and can be modified or removed at any time.

• Optional Permissions:
  • Storage (Image/Media/File): For screenshots, video recording, bulletin posts, 1:1 inquiries, and profile pictures.
  • Microphone: For voice recognition (STT), video sound recording, and audio recording.
  • Notifications: For in-game information and promotions.

Permission Management (Android):

1. Android 6.0 or higher: Manage permissions per app or per access point through Device Settings > Privacy > Admin (or similar).
2. Android below 6.0: Permission management is limited; permissions can only be removed by uninstalling the app. Upgrading to a newer Android version is recommended.
