Lego Gameboy fait un retour dans le dernier
Nintendo's Latest Collaboration: A LEGO Game Boy!
Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up again, this time producing a LEGO Game Boy set! Launching October 2025, this follows the successful LEGO NES release.
While exciting for fans of both brands, the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked considerable speculation about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Many users jokingly interpreted the Game Boy LEGO set as the long-awaited console reveal.
Although Nintendo remains tight-lipped about the Switch 2, President Furukawa confirmed in May 2024 that a successor announcement would be made within the current fiscal year (ending March). Patience is required!
Pricing details for the LEGO Game Boy are yet to be revealed, but further information is promised in the coming weeks and months.
Previous LEGO/Nintendo Collaborations
Beyond the NES, the partnership has yielded LEGO sets based on popular Nintendo franchises including Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda.
Last May 2024 saw the release of a 2,500-piece LEGO set featuring the Great Deku Tree from Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild. This impressive set, priced at $299.99 USD, includes Princess Zelda and the Master Sword.
Two months later, a Super Mario World set debuted, showcasing a pixelated Mario riding Yoshi. A rotating crank animates Yoshi's leg, offering a unique interactive element. This set is available for $129.99 USD.
